Although it was windy I loved this course! A few hills but otherwise flat. Lots of water/gaterade stations.
I didn’t run my best time but that was bc I only had a month to train. When I crossed the finish line I was very dizzy and the volunteers helped me greatly. From sitting down, to taking me to the medical tent. Someone was always there. Not to mention the 1st volunteer took pics of my friend and I once she crossed!
I never thought I could eat chowder after running…. But oh my it was the best!
I always said I would only do each marathon once due to many and the training…. But I am definitely into doing this one again! With hopes to enjoy the downtown area with the fam this time.
