Running a half marathon has always been a dream distance for me. However, two ankle surgeries and Covid put a damper on those plans for several years. I finally fulfilled my dream and ran my first half marathon at Lake Powell! We vacation here every summer and I was extremely excited for this to be my first half marathon. Vacation Races did not disappoint in anyway! The race was smooth, the course was wonderful and of course Lake Powell and Page, Arizona offered all of the amazing things we have come to experience each summer. Also gave us the opportunity to explore more of Page than we ever had before. If you are in the market for your first half marathon or even to have one of your best races, this is the race for you! Looking forward to next year!
