This race is the perfect event to end the season with a half or full, or even a 5k or 10k if winter running isn’t your preference. The weather can be hit and miss though with the cold wind. The race is very thoughtful with considering the weather elements for runners. The expo is outside in an enclosed tent. The finishers shoot takes you right into the post race food tent which also shelters runners and offers fruit, soup and pizza to help warm up.
The long sleeve race shirts are always perfect for the season and I love the medals. Another nice touch are the reusable bags for race kits compared to some races who still use plastic bags.
