Love the Golden Gate Half for the challenge, the fun and the scenery! It’s definitely some climbing but, absolutely worth every step. I’m also not much of a fan of medals but, this year’s was really well done. A keeper for sure. Am mulling over running it a 6th time. The location is great, the parking not as bad as I expected. Good swag. And beer by SF Brewing is delicious!

This is my second run of the Golden Gate Half and am already signing up for next year! Beautiful scenery – by far the best of any road race I’ve done. You can’t beat running along the marina waterfront and across the Golden Gate Bridge for a fabulous race! Challenging climbs up to the bridge make the downhill and flat on the way back a perfect way to end the race.
