The race swag for the marathon Runner’s was disappointing to say the least, from the shirt design to the finishers medal. There were too many runners to have everyone start at once, stagnant starts are needed for this run. You couldn’t enjoy the scenery due to watching where you’re running so you don’t step on people and you’re consistently weaving through bodies, there was no way to keep a consistent pace. The finish line was disappointing due to family & friends not being allowed inside the gate, so they could not see you cross the finish line. Having to walk half a mile to get to your friends and family is ridiculous. Only motivating thing about this race are the Marines lined up throughout the course.
