Excellent event produced by VR! This was my first destination race and I’m very pleased with the experience. My favorite part was the 5 miles of wide scenic trail Sierra National Forest and the rest is paved downhill course towards Bass Lake. Big thumbs up for setting up two groups that started 0600 and 0730 to accommodate over 3000 people. Overall, it was a beautiful course! Tip: Definitely train for downhill so your quads will thank you the next day.
