I died like halfway through the race, and was very dehydrated from not drinking enough water, so it was a slightly more painful experience than other races, however, I really did have a good time. The views of Lake Superior are to die for at the beginning.

This course was a challenging one, but was a very enjoyable experience. At the very end, one of the pacers that I had caught back up with was amazing and very encouraging. I also appreciate the fact that someone took the time to tie straw on literally every medal. That was probably harder than the actual running itself.

It was not a very hilly course at all (one brief hill during mile 5), and was a beautiful and very well organized course! Be aware that they only hand out medals to the top 4 places in each age division. Will probably run again next year!
