Funny how they describe participants as “runners”. I am soooo NOT a runner. I discovered Wildflower back in 2010. I am a Mountain Bike rider, weekly rider. I can’t get enough. I am also a swimmer. But I am NOT a runner, so when I discovered the Off-Road Sprint race and saw that it was only a 2mi run at the end, I was ALL in! I have now done 4 races, all Off-Road Sprints, all Wildflower experiences. I also LOVE that this particular race is on a Saturday and not Sunday! Not gonna lie, my times have actually gotten worse as the years have gone by, but I still love it. I plan to stick with it for at least a few more years. I also plan to bring in fresh blood, new participants. It’s so much more fun of an experience with a group of people to help sheer each other on!
