During quarantine, I decided to use the extra downtime to train for a full marathon. The CDA marathon could not have been better! The organizers made it feel extremely safe and I am in awe of their perseverance and creativity to allow this event to happen. The course itself was stunning! There were some killer hills, particularly along the marathon only portion, and the RaceJoy app stopped working part way through, but the weather and experience were ideal. Also, the shirt is my favorite race shirt to date! The whole event was well organized, and I greatly appreciated the chance to race in an otherwise crazy year.
