If this is your first half, like it was mine, don’t do it! Mile 9 is all up a huge hill. Lots of hills on the race. Train to run hills if you do this. Finish line was lame. No spectators near the finish line and all have to wait way past it. San Diego race you can cheer them on as they enter the last finish area and after the finish line. Booo Phoenix. I heard this is a new route. Change it back!
