Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego
This was the first Rock 'N' Roll race I've run and the atmosphere was "rockin" (yes, pun intended)! It was hot, sunny and the course did not provide any areas … MORE
This was the first Rock ‘N’ Roll race I’ve run and the atmosphere was “rockin” (yes, pun intended)! It was hot, sunny and the course did not provide any areas of shade, which made it pretty difficult. There was also a fair share of hills. I do wish it went through more scenic parts of San Diego, but it was still a nice course. The water stations were well stocked and there were bathrooms all along the course. At the end of the race, the snacks and drinks provided were wonderful! Will most likely run this again in 2019! 🙂

I participated in the half marathon and the entire event, start to finish, was the best I’ve ever experienced! The bib pick-up was extremely easy. The half course was scenic, the volunteers were encouraging and there were a ton of water/snack stops along the way. At the finish line, there were so many amazing snacks/drinks/freebies, which was just the icing on the cake. Also, the medal this year is absolutely gorgeous! I can’t wait to run this race again next year!
