2020 was my first year running this race. I was blown away by how hard Negative Split worked to put on such an amazing race during COVID-19. Everything went smoothly and safely.
Packet pickup was spaced out over a few days for social distancing. Runners got to choose their start time in advance. There was a rolling start line, you show up and start running. Runners got to use the Race Joy app to for instructions and directions. The course was also marked really well. The scenery was fantastic! There were a couple of aid stations along the way. The aid stations had an awesome variety! I really liked that they had chews as well as gels. The race swag was really awesome too!
Overall this race was a really fun experience and the racing highlight of 2020. I can’t wait to run it again in April 2021!
