Hills in Cincy are no joke, but train for them and you’ll be fine. You get a mix of running in the city and then through suburban neighborhoods. Pretty views help, crowds cheer when views are lacking.
Aid stations are at every mile. Some were themed and volunteers were dressed in costumes, etc—lots of food along the way so you can “pig out.” Crowd support was top notch.
They really go all out with pig theme!
The race swag from the expo was awesome!! I got a free first time marathon shirt, a backpack, a running belt, and tons of Proctor & Gamble samples.
I definitely want to go back and do it again.
