The logistics of the marathon went very smoothly from the organizers to the route layout. For first timers, the decending part of the route may be a boost for shaving off a little time. This is a popular race for people wanting to qualify for Boston. The view from the top of the mountain near the beginning of the race is beautiful, as is the end by the waterfront. Weather was perfect for a race day, cool and dry with little wind late in the year.
