I hadn’t always loved running. My first race even was a half marathon…. I was so not prepared for it. On the day of, 13.1 felt like an eternity. But today I can get up or come home and run 13 for fun. Now my desire is to run races from 5k’s to at least one 100 miler. But my passion of running also became a reality when I remembered my mother saying to me, that when I was born I had heart murmur and one of my veins hadn’t fully grown. Dr had told her I was going to live… But being active was not going to be a lifestyle for me, due to my birth complications. Then, Therese God, I was healed my vein grew and despite Dr still being confident that I was still going to have complications doing physical activity. Countless 5k’s about 10 half marathons 2 full marathon and 3 50k’s later. I’m still here, still running, still putting one foot in front of the other. And that’s why I run.
