This was a great half marathon. The uphill section at mile 6 was difficult. The downhill that followed was fast. They did a great job on awards and photos. I’m always impressed by the quality that Vacation Races puts into their races.

The finish was all uphill, otherwise is was a great 5K race. This was mostly on pavement with a small uphill section on a dirt/gravel road. This was a nice mix of gradual uphill except the steeper finish.

This was a downhill marathon with plenty of uphill in the middle. The downhill felt great, the uphill was long and more challenging. The slope of some of the turns was pretty steep as well, making it hard on the legs. Overall this was a great race with great scenery and a good 1st marathon to run.

This is a challenging altitude course, first 4-5 miles are a gradual uphill, then rolling hills. The ending loop is around their local lake which gives a flat finish. Vacation Races does a great job with awards and swag bags.

This was my first night race and the course wasn’t marked as well as I would have liked. The aid stations were great and the staff was helpful. This was during a full moon, but because of the cloud cover we didn’t get much extra light. The terrain was varied and it was overall a great experience.
