The Cowtown is a great event offering race distance for all. This was my 14th year to complete the half marathon. The course has some hills but it also has great fan support. The swag is always nice. Expo has been down the last few years.

Dallas did it well. Felt safe with roads being closed off and plenty of Law Enforcement at intersections. Water stations were great and loved that UCAN was visible and active at the locations that they had advertised. Some of the roads were under construction and the conditions were rough to run on. Overall, I think Dallas nailed it and would consider running it again. I would recommend to my running friends!

Awesome aid stations and medals were by far the best of the last 10 years of running The Cowtown. Race shirts were nice and I liked the finisher shirts even though they were a little thin. Expo was a little disappointing. Overall Cowtown does it right!
