This year was my first time to run any Cowtown Marathon event and I will now add this to my list of yearly events! All aspects of the race seemed to be put together very well. There were adqeuate water stops, and several opportunities to receive GU packs along the route. Crowd/spectator involvement was high and I enjoyed the overall vibe of the event. Finish line was one of my favorite experiences, and you receive ice cream! I have never wanted chicken noodle soup after I’ve completed a race, and this is the first time I’ve had it provided at the finish line. However, it really hit the spot and was easy to eat after running 26.2. Lastly, enjoyed the cowtown shuttle to/from my hotel which made getting there and back super easy. It was nice to not have to deal with parking on race day. Will definietly run again and recommend to all my friends.
