This was my 15th full marathon, and my favorite so far. Logistically, everything was a breeze. The shuttle buses are super easy and the swag was better than average. Also, in terms of race day organization, Revel had everything planned to a T.
The course was very scenic and fast. I was flying the first 22 miles. The downhill is real. You definitely will feel it, especially after the race, but it’s worth a new PR. I set a new PR by 20 minutes and I met several others at the finish line with similar results.
All in all, this is a marathoner’s marathon! If you’re looking for a downhill, fast, scenic course to PR, sign up for this one! @MattSeedorff
