Vacation races is very honest about the course. Do not underestimate how tough the sand is or how mentally challenging it will be. Bring a good headlamp because the trail is rough and the light is necessary to see exactly where to put your feet. Overall, they do a good job with swag and the whole set up, but it’s just so difficult.

There was a good amount of water stations and volunteers, which is always appreciated. The course is beautiful and is fast, but still challenging. There could have been more music along the way, but there were lots of fans cheering.
