This was my 19th marathon, 3rd Mesa. And a PR and BQ for me!! I can't say enough how much I love this race! For so many reasons. It's on … MORE
This was my 19th marathon, 3rd Mesa. And a PR and BQ for me!! I can’t say enough how much I love this race! For so many reasons. It’s on a Saturday at 6:30!! You have the WHOLE WEEKEND to enjoy once it’s over. The course is super flat, slight uphill 4-6 and some downhill, but overall, FLAT. The race expo is very large and extremely well-organized. So many aid stations. GREAT crowd support. Amazing after-party/goodies at the finish line. And this year, they added WAY MORE porta potties at the start and that was such a great thing to see when I piled off the school bus. I plan to run this race every year…it seems to get better every year!
