Poorly marked trail. My buddy and I got lost once when you get to the top of the big hill. Added 4 miles to the 50K. Then due to poor signage went on a different trail towards the end, luckily a good Samaritan mountain biker tracked me down and told me it was the wrong way. Come to find out the 50k is more like a 55K. So it was a bit frustrating. Also this is more like the outskirts of Zion, its nothing like the valley you see in the tourist photos. And I believe in one of the ads we were supposed to see native americans on horseback. But never saw em. Post run food wasn’t good either, my friend gave his burrito to a dog claiming he got better food in prison. All of us who attended in our group are avoiding the RD that handled 2017 Zion.
