Since this is one of Brazen’s Ultra Half, it has a lot of climbing. The hills are mixed in through the course and this keeps it interesting and tough. I think this was my first race that ended with a climb.

Well organized race. The initial uphill at high grade is a challenge. The steep downhill towards the end is tough as well. I was not as prepared for the inclines as I should have been. Ran with cramping calves the last 2.5 miles. Still, overall an enjoyable experience and worth it.
