This review is for the 2017 race, specifically, the 5K. Whoever managed the course layout and timing obviously did NOT know what they were doing. The 5K course was 2.75 miles (many people said that was what their GPS showed), so all the times were skewed. Many runners, including me, did not have their times register. They eventually found me in the system and gave me a time. During the awards ceremony it was clear that the top 10 males were mixed up. They gave my friend the 3rd place overall trophy when he said he came in 8th.

It’s a fun event since there are > 60,000 runners, BUT the start is a bear. My start wave’s start time was 9:00 but the race starts at 7:30, and they want everyone there early.
