I have done the Kaiser Half Marathon 5 or 6 times now, and it is always a great race. It is a relatively flat course (for SF) and it is very, very well organized. Every year it goes off on time, without a hitch, with good shuttle buses, good on-course support, and good post-race treats.

I love this race. I’ve done it several times now. It is always very well-organized and starts on time (or pretty darn close). There is a big crowd but the roads are wide enough that if never feels too congested (especially at the start – nice to not feel like you are pushing past, dodging and weaving for the first mile like at so many races). I love being able to have my bib mailed to me instead of struggling to get to a race expo. Golden Gate park is beautiful – Ocean Beach is usually overcast but still lovely. This is one of the flattest races I have found in SF! The volunteers are great and everything seems to run very smoothly.
