This race has some hills so train for it. It always seems longer than what my GPS watch says, at any distance. But that is okay b ecausse you get lots of beer and wine and omelette-breakfast type foods served up by some awesome firefighters. So you need to burn it off. We had a great time and will be repeat customers. The organizers have so much heart and are donating proceeds to fire relief efforts in Sonoma county.

Great for being easy on the knees, as this trail is exclusively is on dirt. Lots of windy trails through a vineyard, absolutely beautiful. Volunteers are amazing people. The post-race festivities were awesome, with wonderful food and drink… and live music! A lot of the proceeds go to the Dolly Parton foundation for books for kids. My only complaint is that the race can be confusing (lots of turns and runners crossing paths, so pay attention!) when it is exclusively in a vineyard, as the runners are going in all different directions. Just a thought.
