Alma Ramirez's Staging Area

This was my first time running spacerock 10k.Wonderful race experience, best trails i have run so far. The views is what made it spectacular.I love running the 10k it was very competitive and challenging , i was amazed on my performance.It was a tough course but i set my mind to start strong and finish strong and thats what i did. I guess swimming for 2 months has make me stronger to conquer those hills.When you set your heart and mind you can achieve anything.Having Perseverance and determination got me far i was able to finish the race without training. Along the way i was saying takes me what it takes me i will cross the finish line, last or first but i will be there. What motivate me to continue to be strong , and be tough on the hills were my little kids. They were waiting for me at the finish line. When i saw them i jump of joy.

I want to thank the race director terry for putting an amazing event. Everything turn out to be great. Thank u for your time, dedication and patience.The course was well mark. There were aid stations along the course,and the volunteers took the time to set everything up, you guys rock. I really appreciate it.The shirt, the goodie bag ,and medal are very nice i really love it. I will highly recommend this race to anyone it has beautiful views that you will enjoy along the course. I have to say that i love every photo that was taken of me is something memorable for me and my kids when they grow up.They were free by the way.

The race is a single trail which makes it a little more difficult, you have to let the people coming downhill pass , and you have to pull to the side so you cannot block their way. I experience so much runnning in the black tunnel i felt that it was moving, there was so much darkness that when i make a faster step each time it was moving more and more. It was something that i havent experience before. I will come back next year to do the half. Stronger than before.
