Great weather for a PR but the hills and the 75+ walkers in front of me prevented that. Terrible corral management. Walkers should have been started later. Also zero pre-race information about dropping off bags at the race start. First timers had no way of knowing this. Logistics were poor regarding getting to the start from the parking area. The freeway was badly backed up trying to get to the stadium parking area. Then you have to walk 0.8 miles to the start. We barely had time to stretch. Worse part for me was the single Michelob Ultra at the finish. One beer! With a $55 registration! The shirt and finishers medal were very nice but I wont be running this race again.

Course is flat and fast but the best part is the postrace party. Held indoors in the auditorium, they spoil you with red beans and rice and cheese grits. They are liberal with the free beer, too. None of that 2 ticket business.
