Hajime Endo's Staging Area

This race was my 2nd half marathon of 2017. Here are some key points (pro, cons, hints):
👉🏻 The day of the race kit pickup, it was somewhat easy to find your pickup location, but a little confused on the maze of tents🤔.
👉🏻 On race day, there were many buses (kind of overkill) on race day to take you from the park to the start line (get there early).
👉🏻 Parking lot was very dark but easy to find as volunteers helped guide the cars in place.
👉🏻 There were enough portopotties to do your business inside the main building and outside at the parking.
👉🏻 The start line of both full and half marathon corral was a little narrow. So be carefully not to get bumped or tangled as you run out towards the road.
👉🏻 The MC kept everyone entertained as the race day was cold and very rainy.
👉🏻 Better train yourself for the downhill runs 📈🏃🏻 (Killer on the quads).
👉🏻 For the fuelling stations for the CLIF Bloks, I think the volunteers should have just handed out the entire package (opened) and not individual pieces (not hygienic on tray or difficult to pick up the pieces).
👉🏻 Love the lake shore scenery run to the finish line.
👉🏻 At the end of the race, they served hot potato soup, which tasted amazing after the cold and rainy race.
👉🏻 I still cannot find my half marathon race photos 😂. Btw, these photos are free 👍
👉🏻 Both the half and full marathon medal was the same medal 🤔
