This course is very flat – I think one incline over a bridge at the beginning but basically flat. There are a lot of turns though so I tried to run the straight line vectors as much as possible to keep close to 13.1 and save my hips and ankles a bit. The CG support was amazing with flyovers at the beginning, demos at the end and of course running through a portion of the base! Volunteers were plentiful and water stations every 2 miles or so. Even had a bonus one – didn’t catch If they were supporting a particular racer or just super excited for ECity to have all of these runners in town. Race was small which made it special for a first in person race. The organizers were awesome too!
