I’ve run over 30 marathons in my life, and this race is one of the best. It has a fantastic, scenic course. The downhill is just right with enough slope to give you a fast time while still being gentle on quads and joints. The short uphills are just enough to mix things up without wearing you out or slowing you down too much. You never know what the weather will be on race day, but early June is almost always beautiful in Northern Utah with cool temps in the morning hours. Races are very difficult to organize but this event is well put together with good nutrition options, plenty of port-a-potties, and a great finish line experience. This is a race I strongly recommend.
