Last year I cut my teeth on half-marathons at this race. Since then, me and my friends have started a running group, signing up for multiple races throughout the year. We decided to make this race our Daytona 500, and last race of the running season. It’s mostly downhill, fun, and cheeky. The most fun race of the year IMO.

Being my first half marathon (actually it was my first race ever) I was a little nervous about what to expect. But I found the entire process and people to be friendly, helpful, and fun loving. Since I have nothing to compare the race to I will just say it exceeded my expectations. No complaints about the course and all the check points were well staffed and encouraging. I intend to do this race again next year.
