Colleen Perry's Staging Area

I highly recommend the Queen Bee Half Marathon for 1st timers, seasoned runners and everyone in between. The registration fee comes back to you in the form of amazing swag that just keeps coming, a female centered and focused race, truly supportive volunteers, fun aide stations and a really great after-party. Stephanie and I parked quite literally across the street from the finish line where, I was certain, there had to be port o potties (I was right!). Untouched and all to ourselves! Then it began to rain. We waited it out inside the car until the downpour stopped then made our way to the start line where we found Stephanie’s co-workers. There was a shot of Fireball and a toast to the race. Shortly after we started we came upon Jillian. We didn’t pet all the dogs, but we did wave at them, we didn’t take a bunch of on course pics, but we did enjoy all the supporters and Halloween decorations. Post race we acquired all the things -so much food and drink! We cheered friends and first timers across the finish then headed home..
