Fantastic race! If you’re looking for a relatively moderate, scenic and beautiful race, you’ve found it. I enjoyed the drive there, camping at Lone Rock and the drive home. It’s a destination race that will wow you throughout. I liked that you had your own hyrdro water bottle. It was actually better than grabbing water from a passerby. Wish there were more offers of snacks other than stingers at the aid stations, but it was still fantastic. Only thing to note is the time change between the state line wasn’t really emphasized so since I was staying at lone rock, I woke up at 5:30 Utah time, got there at 6:15 Utah time, but was there at 5:15 Arizona time & had to wait the hour in the 38 degree morning weather I was trying to avoid. I wish the time difference was emphasized more for us forgetful people 🙂 the wait was very cold but the hot water provided kept me warm for the most part
