Very flat course but surprisingly challenging depending on the weather. Held in early March so the temperature isn’t too high, but I dealt with high winds (between 20 and 30 mph!). The support from the police department to keep runners safe was great. A lot of road running but overall pretty nice.
I was expecting more boardwalk running but still had a good time.

This race is held by a small group of dedicated runners and had a very welcoming feel. I drove out the morning of the race, was able to walk through packet pick up with no problems and still get ready for the race start.
The race is run on rural roads and is surprisingly hilly. Ample race support for the size of the race and professional timing but a local timing company.
Would do again.

This race is local to Fayetteville/Fort Bragg NC and largely features Fort Bragg as the location of the race. The first ten miles get you from downtown Fayetteville to Fort Bragg and the remainder of the race takes places on Fort Bragg. You run by some iconic 82nd Airborne division locations and get to spend some time in the training areas on post.
Well run for the size of the race.

Very well organized and tons of spectator support. Easily one of the best races I have run. Additionally, the metro in town makes it very easy for spectators to get around and see you as you run the course. Post race party was also a blast with tons of freebies!
