Love the display of memorial banners for each of the bombing victims. The support of the course was great and the volunteers at the water stations were very friendly. What I didn’t like about the race is that around 3.5-4 miles the course merged with the 5K making the course crowded. This is usually the segment where runners should be settling into their pace, not dodging a wall of 5k walkers and stollers. I felt this area of the course was dangerous and should be re-evaluated. The 5k race should probably be a separate course from the marathon.
