First, the medal is amazing! A different design based on the movie every year.
You start at the reformatory where a lot of the movie was filmed and you can tour it before or after the race. The course runs through the small town where parts of the movie were also filmed. Even if you are not a fan of the movie it is a fun race. There are a few hills, but what goes up must come down.

This race runs along the beautiful Milwaukee Lakefront. It is a nice flat course which makes it optimal to PR. Not only do you get an awesome long sleeve shirt but you get a medal of one of the city’s scapes that doubles as a bottle opener!
