Tough but beautiful course

Beautiful scenery, running through the golden gate (back and forth) and the surrounded area is amazing! The foggy weather makes it better. The hills were tough; there were at least 3 hills where I had to slow down considerably.
My right knee was bugging me a little when I crossed the finish line and the volunteers wrapped ice around my knee and let me rest in the area for a few mins, which I really appreciate!
The organization was fine; I didn’t have any issues when picking up my bib number. I think the process of getting your t-shirt would’ve been easier if the sizes were chosen at the time of your registration; people were trying on the t-shirts right at the pick-up area and the volunteers were given recommendations on the sizes that you should wear which I thought it was totally inappropriate. The expo wasn’t so good and didn’t spend more than 5 mins there.
There was a line to get your beer because they were checking IDs and also saw a fairly long line for the gear check. I think it would’ve been nice to get something like a heat sheet; I was freezing at the line to get my beer! I actually didn’t enjoy my beer because I was too cold.

I registered 3 days before the race and planned to be there at 6:15am so I can pick up my bib number. However, I couldn’t find my name when looking for my bib. I went to solutions and this extremely slow lady asked me if I could wait, I was standing there for 10 mins and more people showed up with the same issue. Once she was done, she asked me again so what can I do for you? (I already explained it to her), she sent me to the registration zone so I can register again!!! I barely made it on time and ended up far away from the start line which slowed me down. Awful experience but running along the beach was amazing.
