The course is very flat. Cruised through the first half, until the sun was full in the sky. Easily the hardest last 6 miles I have run as staying hydrated was tough. The landscape is fantastic. Like nothing else in the country. Crowd support was a little thin, but lots of great bands on the course. If you do this, make time to go to the Desert Botanical Gardens.
