The course is gorgeous – it has a nice blend of road and trail – I loved the trail portion! There were really bad winds at the packet pickup but that sounded unusual – it did not make the outdoor expos fun to attend at all but you can’t control Mother Nature and I’m sure most years it’s fine. My one complaint was having to get to the bus pickup so early – it was really cold and the last shuttle from the start left at 4:45am, which left us about 90 minutes in the dark and cold = not sure if fires could have been lit but that would’ve helped. As a first timer, I was impressed with Vacation Races – they do everything they can to make the race a positive experience for the runner. From the pre-race packet, to the final email, it was top notch. Thanks you!

I’ve completed the 10 mile several times and it’s one of my favorite races! You get to see both Minneapolis and St. Paul (with the awesome finish) without having to go the full marathon. It’s early but the light rail option for getting to the start really helps. If you can get in to the race, I would highly recommend it!

Medtronic does such a fantastic job of running races – they are well organized from start to finish. This is no exception and a top notch race. My husband and I did the relay and I wish it had been a little more competitive in the sense that there were stats for age groups, etc. It was fun though but I don’t know if I’d run it and try to race it again without some sense of how you competed. Good swag and well organized!
