Great organized half marathon put on by vacation races. Was able to start at 6am which was nice. I loved the 5 mile challenge at the beginning and the views after were gorgeous. Not a big fan of the surrounding towns but once you start running you forget. Finish line is fun , medal is huge. . You also get FREE professional pictures of yourself running, really appreciate that. Lots of cool stuff at the expo for purchase too. Vacation race staff is always super nice and friendly.

Loved this race. Very lively, even the police officers were dancing and having fun. Music on the loud speakers road after road after road towards the very end. It was the absolute BEST! Had a steep hill and wind around the lakes, don’t get me wrong this was no cake walk. But you should totally do the full!!!! First time to Dallas and was surely wow’ed!
