Brooke Weiler's Staging Area

The course had a lot of great views and flowed nicely although it had rolling hills and one large hill between mile 7 and 8. The race expo wasn’t much of an expo and left much to be desired. The line up to start was a bit chaotic as there was nobody to enforce the corrals when lining up so those in the second wave or later corrals lined up wherever making faster runners time suffer by being stuck behind slower runners ,if you create corrals enforce them. Other than the there was great cheering and support along the route as well as entertainment. The water stations were well placed and stocked. Overall I would recommend this race!

The environment was fun and supportive! The route was flat and straight. There was cake and couches at the water stations. This run was well organized, and was quite enjoyable. Would definitely recommend, and will be running it again 🙂

From start to finish the event was very well organized and executed. Packet pick up was pain free, parking was no problem, and the day of plan was well communicated prior to go time. The course was well marked and relatively flat with a nice view for majority of the route. The only improve was the use of full water bottles with a lack of trash cans further down the route left runners either running with bottles in hand or wasting it and throwing it randomly on the ground throughout the route. The shirt and medal were very nice, and the post run food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this race, and look forward to running it again.

This race was a shit show before it even started. Paid $15 PER person for shipping, however didn’t receive one of the runners shirts and was told we had to pick it up hours after the run ended. People had to sit in line for more than 2 hours to do the in person pickup. The event ended up handing out packets the morning of, but again what did I pay $15 for. They had the 5K broken up into several waves, but there was nobody controlling the staging at the start line. Nothing started on time. Many people from later waves were at the front by the start line. Walkers blocked the already narrow path and it took over 1/2 mile to get around them. Very chaotic. At the end of the run, it was stated there would be signs for how to get back to the parking area, but there was not. There were several groups including myself wandering around the campus with gps trying to get back to our cars. From start to finish very disappointing.

It was a nice out and back course with decent scenery. The route was hilly and the race was geared more toward the shorter distances. The event was well coordinated and the swag was awesome.
