I loved everything about this marathon except it was 85 at the finish. The first half was not bad but thank goodness for ice at the aide stations. I had trained super hard for this race and was trying for a PR possible BQ. Was not going to happen. I ran smart and did well considering. I would say this race needs to be pushed back 2 weeks. I saw a very dangerous situation at mile 22 that was scary. Everything else was awesome. So sad it was so hot. At the finish the volunteers were AMAZING!!! I think they were worried!!
