The QC Marathon and Half was a great race. I loved starting in Illinois and then making our way across the Mississippi river into Iowa. The cool rain helped keep you fairly comfortable. There were plenty of people out, cheering you on, along the way. Running by the river was awesome. I especially enjoyed running on the Rock Island Arsenal. The run back across the Mississippi, into Illinois, was great because it let you know that the finish line was near. The best part of the race was having the race director, Joe Moreno, greet you at the finish line. I highly recommend this race.
