Do not let the articles in the magazines scare you (they say one of toughest races). It was very doable. Rolling hills, can only remember one big one.
The water stops (if you can call them that) were awesome. They were more like snack breaks, potty breaks, meet some fun locals break. And there were lots of them. One stop ever took pictures of every running and posted to Facebook. So far it is my favorite picture from the race!
It was very organized and everyone was very nice. Ate lunch at a restaurant at the finish line after the race. Did not have to wait for a table!! Very good food!!
Can’t wait to go back and do it again!!

Was amazing to see so many runners, over 20,000. Was well organized and entertainment all along the way. Professional photos taken in key spots!
Would love to do again sometime, but if not it was for sure worth doing once.
The course was mostly flat and easy to run, you never really thinned out because there were so many runners.

They only held this race for a few years, no long running it. But it was very fun. The staff was awesome. This was my first half and around mile 10 or so I noticed a bike hanging behind me. I ask if I was the last runner, and yes, I was! But that did not matter the wonderful lady on the bike talked with me and assured me I was doing fine. By the finish line there were several bikes and my husband waiting. I finished with a smile.
