Good mix of runners and signed up because of the wine tasting at the end. Views were boring, you’ve seen one vineyard, you’ve seen them all. Worst aspects, they made you stop multiple times for traffic. No point in having this as a competitive run or even practice. They ran out of the commemorative wine glasses for the runners even tho the swag included this. Many runners left without this after waiting for more than 30 minutes. They provided cheap cotton tshirts, for the price you pay, you’d expect dry wicking fabric. Food selection was few and far between after the run, the expo was weak, hardly any running related or athletics related vendors. Starbucks is nice, but how does it relate to running or healthy habits? Workers were annoyed, yes runners are mad cause you couldn’t match the number of glasses to the number of participants. Another runner who did this run last year told us they were given a swag bag last year, but only provided it to the VIPs this year. Should have released people in waves, took almost two miles to get around slower runners. Not worth it.
