On the second year of this race, we saw the number of participants double. Everyone there was going after a goal. My goal was to put one foot in front of the other for as many miles as possible given my limited training for this event. As a seasoned marathoner (halfs and ultras included), I set off to do my best and completed more than I expected given the lack of training.

This is a neat concept where the last participant is the winner. It has slow runners in mind. We put as much effort in training as the elite if not more.
On this year I was the last participant to complete the race and also established a new course record. This is the only way I could ever win any race.
