I have run this half 8 years. Usually it is top notch. The race itself is awesome. Great crowds, course support, runners, and course. They switched it up a bit … MORE
I have run this half 8 years. Usually it is top notch. The race itself is awesome. Great crowds, course support, runners, and course. They switched it up a bit this year, just told me I need to train more hills in miles 11-13.
I took off 1 star is because the staging area was horrible. It was changed this year and the people traffic jam at the start (portapotties should not be placed right in front of entrance of corrals) and the end gathering was bad logistics. Food was great and beer was ice cold. Overall Love the race and I will do again. The cowtown is always improving and helpful. I’m sure all issues will be corrected next year.
